Well, it’s time to bid farewell to peak foliage and welcome a busy pre-Holiday season here. Tomorrow’s November 1st and we’re already shaping up for a super busy month ahead.

Tot Park Reopens
If you have little ones, you’ll be thrilled to know Tot Park in Memorial Park is finally reopening on Friday, November 1st.
Silent disco fans may want to grab a couple of tickets to LotusWorks’ LGHTS DOWN LW at The Yard on Friday evening, November 1st.
Enjoy community activities and free food at Beacon Climate Now’s Third Annual Taproots Festival at the Yard on Saturday, November 2nd.
Love a good story?
Don’t miss VICES & VIRTUES by author and raconteur, Matt Eddy at the Howland Cultural Center on Saturday, November 2nd. Think Aesop’s Fables reimagined in the 21st century: A Dog in a loveless marriage and a Badger who likes to gamble.
Feeling crafty?
Join Witch Hazel (176 Main St) and Laura Delarato for their two-hour Collage Club on Sunday morning, November 3rd.
Enjoy a fun night out with The Beacon Players who’ll be presenting the musical Man of La Mancha at the Seeger Theater from Friday, November 8th to Sunday, November 10th.
A Food Justice Fundraiser
Help raise funds for the awesome Beacon Community Kitchen and The Learning Farm of Ithaca. Join them at their Food Justice is Liberation Fundraiser, a four-course dinner created by local chefs and more. The Yard, Saturday, November 9th.
Join Beacon favorite, Hudson River Sloop Clearwater for their Chopping Wood Clearwater Party on Sunday, November 5th at the Howland Cultural Center.
