An Essential Guide to Beacon, NY
I created The Beacon Beacon to help shine a light on all good things happening here in Beacon, NY. It’s a visual and inclusive guide to the abundance of indie shops and businesses, eateries, things to do, and places to stay in Beacon, NY. It’s also a platform for sharing recommendations and interviews with some of the city’s most innovative creators, artists, business owners, and community leaders.
I have a long career in retail, branding, and communications, so I know how to market and spread the word on all good things. I’m also a wannabe shop owner who was never quite brave enough to take the leap and open my own store. This is my contribution to those who have!
And, The Beacon Beacon wouldn’t exist without the incredible work of Stacie Merrill, who created its branding and web design, and Matt Bloom, a passionate foodie and contributing feature writer (also my other half!). Teamwork makes the dreamwork, as they say!
