2025 Openings in Beacon, NY

The Welcome Center at Wolcott Avenue

The new year is bringing new beginnings in Beacon. And it’s only the middle of January, a traditionally quiet time of year. Not for Main Street, though, where an abundance of new restaurants, wellness centers, and more are opening their doors very soon. Phew!

Earlier this week, we shared news on Instagram and Facebook of some new openings. But when we started to dig into what’s up and coming, we realized we hadn’t shared the full picture. So, here we go:

The lowdown

Kitchen & Coffee returns to 420 Main Street

Kitchen & Coffee opens in their original location at 420 Main Street today. This Beacon favorite, which sells delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and baked goods, is always a treat to visit. And the beautiful, renovated location looks even better than ever. This, of course, means the space they’re vacating (382 Main Street) will now be available. We’re excited to see who will move in.

Beacon Quality Eats coming soon to 157 Main Street.

There are now signs in the window for Beacon Quality Eats, opening in April at 157 Main Street. The brainchild of the Kitchen Sink Supper Club team, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be worth waiting for. BQE will offer sandwiches, catering, and more.

Wine bar Estilo Y Vino is coming soon to Reserva’s previous location at 173 Main Street.  They’ve told us they’re planning to open their doors in February. Who knows, maybe it’ll be in time for Valentine’s Day?

Moreish (207 Main Street), home of British homemade classics such as a full English breakfast, bangers & mash, fish & chips, sausage rolls, and bakewell tarts, has now moved from the Hudson Valley Food Hall and is temporarily closed while renovating their new space. The excellent news is that they’ll be opening at the former Big Vinny’s Pizza & Donnoli location at 207 Main Street in the spring.

We’ve all been wondering when the new walk-in clinic CareFull MD (252 Main Street), next to Key Food, will open and what it’ll offer. Well, it seems that all will be revealed later this month. Watch this space to find out more.

Blackbird Attic will be found at 211 Fishkill Avenue until March.

Blackbird Attic (442 Main Street) is in the process of having a refresh, and so you’ll find them at the Kube Art Center, (211 Fishkill Avenue) until March.

The Station Dispensary (463 Main Street)—set in the old former police station and courthouse—recently celebrated its soft opening and is now selling cannabis flowers, pre-rolls, and edibles. It’s cash only for the time being.

The Piggy Bank (446 Main Street) returns in a new iteration this spring, bringing barbeque back to Beacon in its original location. This time around it’s a collaboration between the owners of Draught Industries and The Station Dispensary. Chef Adam Sternberg has recently been named Executive Chef, and if you can’t wait until The Piggy Bank opens, you’ll find them at the Hudson Valley Wing Fest on February 1st.

A new healing center— Clare Carr & Associates—is opening soon at 493 Main Street in Witch Please’s original space (now at 498 Main Street).

And there’s more…

We’re eagerly waiting to find out what will be taking over 232 Main Street at the former Homespun location which has been empty now since mid-August 2024.

We confess to being a little in the dark about the Madame Brett Social Club—described as a vibrant coworking space and community hub— as well as other businesses yet to open at 418 Main Street. All should become clear in the coming weeks.

There also may be signs of new life at the former Lorraine Tyne Bridal location at 161 Main Street. As always, we’re super keen to see what it will be!

Looking forward

That’s it for now. All in all, there’s much to look forward to on Main Street in 2025. While we’re sad to see the Holiday wreaths gone, that only means the spring flowers, blossoming trees, and more awe-inspiring businesses will be coming to Main Street soon!
