The Tioronda Garden Club is honoring the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by inviting Beacon residents to enter its Patriotic Garden Contest. Entrants are encouraged to design and display gardens that reflect the spirit of America, past, present, and future.
Gardens using patriotic colors: red, white, blue or purple flowers and incorporating flags, or symbolic elements inspired by the ideals of liberty and independence are suggested. Certificates will be awarded to the winning entries.
