Black Curtain Society: A Vaudeville of Secrets & Surprises is an intimate immersive evening of five veteran-authored ten-minute plays. These vignettes are threaded together with live music, vaudeville acts, cocktails, and hidden encounters built around secrecy, seduction, and elegant social trespassing.

Set inside a smoky noir lounge somewhere between a diplomatic reception, and a private society gathering, the evening unfolds as a continuous immersive experience where performances emerge, disappear, and overlap around the audience.

Former operatives circle each other over old wars. Polite conversation turns coercive. Beautiful strangers tell dangerous stories under velvet light.

Featuring plays by Clyde James Aragon, Robert Weibezahl, Mark Antony Rossi, Mike Oppenheim, and Christopher Paul Meyer. Each is interwoven with live performance acts, immersive interactions, and ambient music throughout the night.

Featuring Ana Brooks, a multidisciplinary performer and classically trained ballerina known for blending elegant dance with the strange and unusual through bottle balancing, cyr wheel, and immersive physical performance. The music is from Benjamin Fortier, a veteran Marine and poet. And haunting storytelling comes from Jennifer Silva, indie rock and alt-country songwriter and powerhouse vocalist.

Bites & Cocktails: A curated experience by Chef Jeremy Plyburn of The Grape Rebellion,

Food & Cocktails are included with your ticket. The cocktails draw from 1950s classics, reimagined.

Black Curtain is not a lineup of acts, but a single unfolding immersive environment where theater, vaudeville, live music, and whispered revelations share the same intimate space. Nothing resets. No clean endings.

Directed by Christopher Paul Meyer. Casting by Jenn Haltman. Tech Direction by Joshua K Boniello.

Also playing Saturday, July 18th and Saturday, July 25th.
